Lisa and PJ I love listening to this blog. The topic of overuse of anabiotic is extremely needed and important. I concur that are prescribing antibiotics when they’re not needed. Rapidly emerging resistant bacteria threaten the extraordinary health benefits that have been achieved with antibiotics . This crisis is global, reflecting the worldwide overuse of these drugs and the lack of development of new antibiotic agents by pharmacological companies to address the challenge. Antibiotic resistant infections place a substantial health and economic burden on the United States healthcare system and population. The coordinated efforts to implement new policies renew research effort, and the pursuit of steps to manage the crisis is greatly needed.Thank you for this useful information.
